McAllen, TX - Clarence W. Wagner, 89, died on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Comfort House in McAllen, Texas.
He was born in Ness City, Kansas, to Adam and Mary Wagner on October 12, 1927.
At an early age he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 20 years. After retirement from the Air Force he went into the trucking business as an owner/operator until he sold it in 1990 to travel on his own time and to his own destinations.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and a grandson.
He is survived by three children from his first marriage to Evelyn (deceased), as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving is his second wife, and his three stepchildren,
Clarence was a life member of the Moose Lodge #734 in Corpus Christi, TX, and Disabled American Veterans, chapter 95, Raul F. Lopez in McAllen, TX. As per his request there will be no formal services held, and his cremains will be interred at the Veterans' Memorial Park in Mission, TX.
All arrangements are entrusted to Heavenly Grace in La Feria, TX.
