Brother Pete

Bro. Pete was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Charlotte and John Leslie.
He was a graduate of Chaney High School in 1974, where he was the editor of the sports page for the school newspaper.
After graduating from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri in 1977 and 1978 with a bachelor's of science in Theology and a graduate of Theology, he has ministered to churches in Iowa, Ohio, and Hughes Springs, Texas.
For the past 28 years he has served as pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Hughes Springs.
He also served as a UIL official in three sports at the Jr. High and High School levels throughout Northeast Texas for over 25 years.
