Dena Fae Kitchenmaster, age 77 of DeKalb, Texas passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 in a local hospital. Mrs. Kitchenmaster was born May 1, 1941 in Matagorda, Texas.
She was retired from the Kansas Department of Transportation, attended the DeKalb Cowboy Church, was member of the Gardenia Garden Club of Dekalb, and is preceded in death by her husband, Les Kitchenmaster and a son in law Wyatt C. Tomlin.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Sikes of Lyons, Georgia, Lina Tomlin of DeKalb, Texas one son and daughter in law, Robert and Brenda Kitchenmaster of Copperas Cove, Texas, three grandchildren, Paul and De’Anne Durham of Glennville, Georgia, James Sikes of Phoenix, Arizona, one great grandchild, William Durham of Glennville, Georgia, 2 sisters, Sue Swanson of Jefferson, Texas, Nina Rattie of Sherman, Texas and a number of other relatives and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bates Rolf New Boston. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the Bates Rolf Chapel at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a local pet shelter.
