Troy Richard Hicks, age 74, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Hicks was born August 18, 1944 in Levelland, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from GTE.
He was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Hicks.Survivors include his wife, Elaine Hicks of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Scarlet Hicks of Romney, New Hampshire; one daughter, Dwayla Hicks of Tyler, Texas; one sister-in-law, Deborah McCoy of Douglassville, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Hall of Missouri City, Texas and Marty Hall of Texarkana, Texas; five grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and many other relatives.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
There are no services at this time. The family will be at the Hicks residence in Texarkana.
