Joe Collins Hawks married Minnie Lee Jones 1897 in Ellis County, TX. Joe was born in Georgia. It is believed that Joe is actually "Joab" or Jacob" listed in the Warren Tyler Hawks household in 1880 GA, Jackson Co. Census, with mother as Margarett Collins.
Minnie Lee Jones was born in Arkansas. She is the daughter of William Edward Jones and Francis Matilda Kirkland.
