Ben Fox
Santa Fe engineer, BEN FOX, resident of Gainesville for 18 years, died suddenly at Ardmore, Oklahoma, Monday morning. He was stricken with an affliction of the heart while standing in the depot at Ardmore and died within a short time. Mrs. Fox was notified of his illness and left by train for Ardmore but he died before she reached him. Mr. Fox had gone to Ardmore to operate the engine of work train running out of Ardmore.
He was 56 years old and had been an employee of Santa Fe RR for more than 30 years. The remains will arrive here and will be taken to the family home at 600 North Moran. Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, GEORGE, EDDIE, GLENNA and EVELYN.
