William Thomas Kaler II (Bill), 63, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2015 and was laid to rest on December 26, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.
Bill was born on August 16, 1952, in Andrews, Texas to Howard William Kaler and Thelma Plumlee Kaler.
Bill was a 1970 graduate of Gainesville High School and attended the University of North Texas in Denton.
In his early years, Bill worked for Barns Brothers Well Service, off-shore in Louisiana for Otis Engineering, a Welding Foreman at National Supply and has been employed with Kaler Oil Company for the past 38 years. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Kaler; sons, Howard Kaler, W. T. Kaler and Bob and Connie Randolph; sisters, JoEtta Kaler and Sharon Kaler; father, Howard W. Kaler; Aunts, Uncle, Cousins and Grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his Mother, Thelma Plumlee Kaler.
Bill was a husband, a son, a father, an uncle, a brother and a friend to many. He was loved and we shall miss him.
