1842 - February 24, 1860
GRACE M. GAFFNEY was born in 1842 at South Carolina to William Gaffney and Charlotte (?)-Gaffney.
Grace was engaged to Joseph Lupton Bryarly. However, her dress hem was too close to the fireplace when she bent over to pick-up some sewing pins and she burned to death.
Grace died 24 February 1860 at the Gaffney home on Gaffney Springs in Red River County, Texas, and was buried there.
