Funeral services for David Teichroeb, age 62 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Reinlander Mennonite Church at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Henry Reimer officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Teichroeb was born November 16, 1955 in Mexico to Elisabeth (Wall) and Heinrich Teichroeb. He married Aganetha Heinrichs in Mexico on July 18, 1976 and was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church. He worked as a farmer and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting. David loved his family dearly; he especially loved his grandchildren.
David Teichroeb passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, five brothers, one sister, one grandson, and one granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Aganetha Teichroeb of Seminole, Texas; three sons, Henry Teichroeb and wife Lisa of Seminole, Texas, David Teichroeb and wife Tina of Seminole, Texas, and Jake Teichroeb and wife Carissa of Seminole, Texas; five daughters, Nancy Hiebert and husband John of Seminole, Texas, Lisa Groening and husband Abe of Seminole, Texas, Agatha Knelsen and husband Isaac of Seminole, Texas, Helena Neufeld and husband John of Seminole, Texas, and Tina Martens and husband Abe of Seminole, Texas; one brother, John Teichroeb and wife Maria of Seminole, Texas; one sister, Agatha Bergen of Seminole, Texas; and 27 grandchildren.
