Services for Angel Herrera, 56 of Lubbock, will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 28, 2007 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, officiating will be Father Bernard Gulley. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be in McNett Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Angel passed away in Lubbock Monday, June 25, 2007.
He was born on May 31, 1951 in Durango, Mexico. He was self employed; he owned a scrap metal company. Angel was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include, sons; Sergio Dominguez and Jose Angel Herrera, both of Lake Station, IN, daughters; Claudia Horan of West Lafayette, IN, Amanda Herrera of Lake Station, IN, brothers; Felipe Herrera of Lubbock, TX, Jose Herrera of Durango, Mexico and Mario Herrera of Oakland, CA, sisters; Margrita Carrera of Parral Chihuahua, Mexico, Maria Sanchez and Martha Sanchez both of Andrews, Alicia Esparsa of Santa Barbara, CA, Amparo Herrera of Durango, Mexico and twelve grandchildren.
