Richard Vandever, 70, of Andrews passed away Saturday October 9, 2010 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas.
Richard was born December 27, 1939 in Merced, California. He has lived in Andrews for over 50 years.
He married Twana Ribble December 15, 1986 in Andrews. Richard owned and operated the Redman Club in Andrews for the past twenty two years. He had a big personality and liked to come across as a bear but he was really a big teddy bear. He loved to read his Bible. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and he loved to fish. Richard was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge in Andrews.
He is survived by his wife, Twana Vandever of Andrews; his mother, Omigene Vandever of Big Spring, Texas; daughters, Vicki Hall of Lubbock, Texas, Jenifer Vandever of Seattle, Washington, Donna Madison of Andrews; son, Shannon Lewis of Andrews and grandchildren, Richard Hall, Shayna Lewis, Stephanie hall, Aaron Lewis, Collin Hall, Damon Lee and Heather Lee. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
