Oscar G. Mendoza, 68, of Andrews was called home on Sunday, July 16, 2017 in Odessa, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Oscar was born on August 25, 1948 in El Fresno, Chihuahua, Mexico to Demetrio and Delfina Garcia Mendoza. Oscar married Ester Lopez on April 11, 1969 in Odessa, Texas. Oscar open his business (Mendoza Metal Coating) in Andrews in 1976. He loved his family, he was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Oscars’ passion was roping, riding horses, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Ester of Andrews; three daughters, Chris and husband Patrick Jones of Midland, Liz and husband David Criswell of Andrews, Sandy and husband Lee Glover of Midland; one brother Sammy Macias of Odessa, two sisters,
Silvia Lanez of Odessa, Joann and husband Joe Tucker of Odessa; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. www.mncnettfuneralhome.com
