This is the entrance to the cemetery. Its location is very secluded in the Addison area of North Dallas county. It is surrounded by apartment complexes on two sides and a sub-division on two side. It can online be accessed one way by driving to the back of an apartment complex off of Preston Oaks Rd behind the Oak Run Apartments (5801 Preston Oaks Rd, Dallas, TX, 75254 (Believed to be the complex, if not, this puts you in the vicinity).
The complex is surrounded by a narrow road which surrounds three sides and a wood fence which was in poor condition when I visited. The gate is pad locked. This is/was predominately black cemetery stated around, probably before, the Civil War by freedman and former slaves from surrounding plantations including Coit, Caruth, and Obier.
