Lt. William Mills Hieronymus, Jr., son of Mrs. and Mrs. Mills Hieronymus, of Temple, Texas, graduated from Temple High School and Temple Junior College and also attended Texas Technological College at Lubbock, Texas.
He entered the Army Air Corps Nov. 1, 1941. He served on the Pacific Coast, also in England, Ireland and Africa. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart. Missing in action in North Africa, April, 1943.
