Willis Abell Reburial Set
First Lt. Willis A. Abell, killed in an airplane crash in India on July 17, 1944, while in service with the Air Transport Command, will be reburied in Restland Memorial Park Friday.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sparkman-Brand Chapel, 2115 Ross.
Abell, a senior pilot in ATC, entered service in 1942. He was a native of Josephine, Collin County, and lived in Dallas before going overseas. His widow lives here at 6818 Vivien.
Other survivors are a son, James Abell; daughter, Jerienne Abell; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James B. Abell of Josephine; six brothers and four sisters.
Abell operated a flying school in Coleman before entering service.
