KERMIT (Special) - Services for Murlin Lavern Odom, 90, of Kermit will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Houston officiating.
Burial will be in Kermit Cemetery under direction of Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, in Kermit Health Care Center.
She was born April 3, 1907, in Strawn. She was a Baptist and a member of the Eastern Star. She married Henry Edward Odom on May 13, 1923, in Cisco. He died Oct. 7, 1986.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Cecil Ray of Kermit, Vernon Louis of Lubbock and Charles Rayford of Lawrence, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
