RITES HELD FOR BANK VP A. K. GURECKY

August K. Gurecky, 72, director and vice president of the First National Bank of Cameron, died Monday afternoon in a local hospital.
Mr. Gurecky had been connected with the bank for 40 years. He was vice president for the past 20 years. He was a veteran of World War I, a retired member of the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department, and active in Knights of Columbus.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon Wednesday at St. Monica's Catholic Church, the Rev. John Geiser and the Rev. Jesse Euristi officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Rosary was recited at 7 p. m. Tuesday at Marek - Burns Funeral Home chapel.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. A. F. Gurecky; a daughter, Miss Barbara Gurecky of Houston; a brother, Joe Gurecky of Beeville; two sisters, Mrs. Felix Matula Sr. of Cameron and Mrs. Matilda Schneider of Newark, N. J.
