J. G. MOON DIES AT EAGLE JANUARY 21

J. G. Moon of the Eagle community died Friday, Jan. 21 and funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 24 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist church with Rev. Holliman of Normangee officiating.
Mr. Moon was born in Alabama April 2, 1851, but had lived in this community many years. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist church. He was married to Miss Mary Hunt of Huntsville, Ala., and to this union were born five children. His wife and four children preceeded him in death.
He was married to Mrs. Charlotte Greene on Nov. 13, 1904. Surviving him are his wife; one brother, of Waco; and a son, Emmit Moon; also a number of grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
