BORGER - Champ S. Hughes, 59, died Monday, April 14, 2008.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ with the Rev. Harry Williams, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Hughes was born April 29, 1948, in Pawhuska, Okla., to Champ O. and Rosa L. Hughes. He was a field operator for DCP Midstream.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Hughes; two daughters, Stephanie Michelle Hughes of Houston and Shayna Nicole Hughes of Borger; two brothers, Terry Hughes and Don Hughes, both of Pampa; and two sisters, Linda Ford of Pampa and Fannie Smith of Dallas.
The family suggests memorials be to The Blessings, P.O. Box 5541, Borger, TX 79008.
