Ray Landriault, Sr., 72 of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ray was born September 22, 1932, to David and Rachel Landriault in Beaver County, Oklahoma. Ray was a La Marque High School graduate, a resident of Texas City for fifty years, served in the Air Force, an operator for Valero for thirty-five years, he attended Grace United Methodist Church and was known as Big Paw Paw to his grandchildren.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arthur David Laudriault, Sr., Richard Landriault and Joseph Clifford Landriault.
Ray is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Pat Landriault , of Texas City; father-in-law, Melvin Enmon and wife, Rvell, of Hitchcock; sons, Larry Roberts and wife, Missy, of Willis, Texas and Rick Landriault and wife, Nance, of Bacliff, Texas; sisters, Lucille Burris and Opal Shifflett ,of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Leo Landriault and wife, Jean, of Brenham, Texas and Jack Landriault and wife, Neoma, of Texas City; three grandchildren, Robin Sibley and husband, Dave, of League City, Texas, Bryan Roberts, of College Station, Texas and Anna Beth Roberts, of Willis, Texas; two great grandchildren, Madalyn and Alaina Sibley, of League City, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, June 26, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the James Crowder Funeral Home, in La Marque. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2005, in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Bonnie Eaves officiating. Interment to follow at Grace Memorial Park, in Hitchcock, Texas.
