*Obituary
Clarence Sylvester Mallia,Jr., 64, of Galveston passed away Thursday, December 30, 2004, at Gulf Health Care Center in Texas City.
Funeral service will be10 a.m., Tuesday, January 4,at Malloy & Son Funeral Home, with Deacon John Pistone officiating. Burial will follow the service at Grace Memorial Park in Alta Loma.
The family will receive visitors from 5 until 8 p.m., Monday, January 3, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.
Clarence was born November 23, 1940, in Galveston, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of the island. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ada B. Mallia and extended family, Don and Neicy Pursley, and Rhonda, Emma, Amy and Linsey.
He is survived by his sister, Doni Julian, and brother, Gerald Lee Mallia, both of Galveston: nephews, Boyd Mallia and Domry Pursley; nieces, Genette Bassett, Pam Pursley, Alexa Pursley, and Marissa Pursley.
Pallbearers will be E. S.MacBeth, Donny Pursley, William Dafonte, Joe Silva,Robert Cherry, and Gerald Mallia.
