GERALD JOHN "JERRY" HALL passed from this life Tuesday evening, June 10, 2014, in Santa Fe.
Born January 28, 1939 in New Iberia, Louisiana, Mr. Hall had been a lifetime resident of Santa Fe. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, before becoming a heavy equipment operator and mechanic, working for Sunland Construction for the last seven years. Jerry attended Calvary Crossroads Church, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially for Redfish, Trout or Flounder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac Dolan and Rita (Myers) Hall; brother, Chad Hall; grandson, Matthew Cox.
Survivors include his children, Vickie Cox and husband, Floyd, Linda Stroud and husband, Butch, Tracy Perez and husband, Tony, Gerald Donald Hall, Terra DeLeon and husband, Rick, Ashley Hall; brothers, Ike Hall, Mike Hall; sisters, Pat Hall, Sandra Walters; grandchildren, Nathan Cox, Cash Hall, Bradley Stroud, Adelina DeLeon, Brandee Stroud, Dylan Miller, Patty Kamata, Tyler Shelton, Lacy Huddleston, Zack Hall; 18 great-grandchildren; his former wives and the mothers of his children, Delores Hall and Tihara Hall and his childhood friend, John "Buster" Free.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Del Toler and Pastor Chance Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Bricker, Paul Bricker, Chad Hall, Craig Hall, Darrell Hall and Lynn Richardson. Honorary bearers will be Nathan Cox and Bradley Stroud.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501
