After his father & mother died in 1921 & 1922 respectively, he and his siblings were raised separately by his mother's sisters. Archie was a retired pipefitter with Local No. 211, served in the U. S. Navy in World War II and was a member of VFW Post No. 5400. He was preceded in death by his wife Freda and was buried in Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
