Jerry Mack McKinzie was the oldest child born to Orville Wright McKinzie, Sr. and Orena Fay Boss, on 4 March 1946 in Marshall, Harrison County, Texas. Jerry served in the United States Air Force from 9 August 1965 until he retired in 1968. Jerry was married 4 times. He had no children of his own, but treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his children.
Jerry McKinzie received graveside military honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force.
