Robert Marshall Miller passed from this life Monday morning, July 5, 2010, in Houston, Texas.

Born January 30, 1937 in Beaumont, Texas, Mr. Miller had been a resident of Santa Fe, Texas, since 1969 and had been a chemical plant supervisor with Brown and Root for 28 years. A U.S. Air Force veteran having served from 1955 to 1965, he was also a 38-year member of the John Mitchell Masonic Lodge #1401 AF & AM. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed Nascar, football, trivia and gardening, especially growing tomatoes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Miller and Getsie (Beall) Tilitzki; brothers, Jerry Miller and Alan Riggs, Sr. and sister, Ann Hunt.

Survivors include his beloved wife of over 54 years, Jeanette Miller of Santa Fe; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joy Miller of Santa Fe; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Steve Brumley of Santa Fe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Faye Riggs of Santa Fe, Emil and Carla Tilitzki, Jr. of Danbury; grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, Jerry Lee Miller, Laura Kibodeaux, Samantha Brumley and fiancé, Jason Barbosa, Michael Brumley and wife, Annie; great-grandchild, Nicholas Thompson; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home conducted by members of the John Mitchell Masonic Lodge #1401 AF&AM. A private entombment will follow Thursday afternoon at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.
