*Obituary
Funeral services for M.J. Barney Sr., 59, of 202 Caliche, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from Gateway Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Hobson, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Barney died at 7:05 a.m. Thursday at North Plains Hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Survivors include his wife, a son, four brothers, five sisters and one grandchild.
Casketbearers will be Homer Crawford, Harold Orr, T.J. Rhoton, Jerry Browning, Alvin Paulsell, C.C. Moore.
Honorary casketbearers will be the trustees of Gateway Baptist Church and his coworkers at Plains Plant.
