Funeral services for E.L. Beakley, 62, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Gardner Street Church of Christ with Doyle Wells, minister, officiating.
Masonic graveside services will follow at Highland Park Cemetery. Burial will be by Minton Mortuary.
Beakley, owner and operator of Beakley Trucking and Grading Company, was dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital Tuesday morning following an apparent heart attack.
He was a longtime resident of Borger and was a member of Isom Masonic Lodge and Khiva Temple of Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita of the home; two sons, Eddie of Amarillo and Marshall of Bogata; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Brewer of Chickasha, Okla.; a brother, Woodrow of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. H.O. Davis of San Antonio; a nephew, Travis Beakley of Globe, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.
