Lloyd Rance Burns
April 6, 1919 - September 2, 2016
Lloyd Rance Burns was born on April 6, 1919. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 2, 2016.
He is survived by 3 sons: Ray and wife Donnell Burns of Houston, Texas, David and wife Cindy Burns of Amarillo and Marvin and Becky Burns of San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Margaret; his son Richard Burns; his parents Albert and Bessie Burns; a brother Clifford and 2 sisters Geraldine Meyer and Montie Jean Cribbs.
Lloyd was blessed with 7 grandchildren: Aaron Burns, Chad Burns, Whitney Robinson, Allison Askew, Matt Burns, Andrew Burns and David Burns. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
The family will welcome friends on Monday, September 5 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 2:00pm at Wesley United Methodist Church, Borger (of which he and his late wife were founding members of the church). Rev Donald Ward will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
