Frank Edward Callahan, 69, succumbed at 10 o'clock last night at his residence, 429 Haravey street from a lingering illness.
Born in Decatur, Ill., May 10, 1869, Callahan came to Texas as a young man and came to Borger to live 11 years ago.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Laurent of Borger, Hutchinson County's only Gold Star Mother, and Mrs. Della Mitchell of Brighton, Colo.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon at the Assembly of God church, with the Rev. J.A. Thomas officiating.
Interment will be in Highland cemetery under the direction of the Powell Funeral Home.
