Aaron Redding Sims LUBBOCK-Services for Aaron Redding Sims will be held 7 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 6310 114th Street in Lubbock. Aaron Redding Sims, 39, of Brownfield passed away on March 30, 2015. He was born on Jan. 22, 1976, to Morris and Rebecca Sims in Houston. He graduated from Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas. He attended St. Thomas College, Texas Tech University graduating with a B.B.A. and Eastern New Mexico University graduating with a Masters in Biochemical Engineering. Aaron was a professor at South Plains College. Teaching was his passion in life. Aaron married Charlotte Camp on Feb. 26, 2003, in Brownfield and sealed for time and all eternity Jan. 5, 2005, in Houston, Texas, Temple. He is preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Charly Bisby and Ira Sims; great-grandmother, Bessie B. Gill and Roland Carnaby. Aaron is survived by his wife, Charlotte Sims of Brownfield; mother, Rebecca Gibbs Sims of Houston; father, Ray Sims and wife Sarah of Cypress; sister Diana Sims and partner Katie Brazzil of Houston; brother, Artie Sims and wife Jen of Houston; two grandmothers, Elizabeth Ann Bisby of Houston, and Winnie Sims of Houston and numerous others whom are cherished.
