Funeral services for Ben C. Coburn, 63, of 718 Derr, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Billy Thompson, pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home of Borger.

Coburn died at 5:40 p.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital.

He was born July 10, 1911 in Bennington, Okla. and had lived in Borger since 1953.

He was a maintenance operator in Precinct 2 for Hutchinson County for the past 21 years ad had retired on April 1.

His wife, Ruby, preceded him in death in Jan. 1974.

Survivors include two sons, Benny of Denison and Tommy of Borger; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Stafford and Mrs. Louise Cummings, both of Borger; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Jane Coburn of Chillicothe; two brothers, Jack of Phoenix, Ariz. and Perry of Quinlan; three sisters, Mrs. Flora Dial of Fort Worth, Mrs. Josie Cross and Mrs. Martha McIntyre, both of Chillicothe; and four grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be Raymond Smith, E.V. Lanham, J.E. Best, Andy Stout, Claude Hooks and Noel Newberry.
