*Obituary
John Clifford Cole, 63, of 4200 Third, Philview, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mr. Cole was born March 3, 1914 in Stigler, Okla., and had been an area resident for 35 years. He was an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co., at the Philblack Plant.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma; three sons, J.C. Jr. of Wichita Falls, Mike of the home, and David Harris of Borger; his mother, Mrs. Eda Cole of Tahlequah, Okla.; five brothers, Wilber, C.E., and Felix all of Borger, Dewey of Wichita Falls, and Roy of Tahlequah, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Smith of Borger; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Philblack Plant.
