Notes: Private Calvert was a member of the 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 21, 1951. Private Calvert was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

*Obituary
The body of PFC James O. Colvert, 20, who was killed November 21, 1951, while fighting with the armed forces in Korea, will arrive in Borger, tonight.

The body will rest at the Blackburn-Shaw-Brown Funeral Home until 2 p.m. Sunday when services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel with Winfred Moore, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Borger officiating.

Graveside rites in Highland Park cemetery will be under the direction of the local post of The Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Private Colvert is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nellie Swinford of Borger; three brothers; H.A. Colvert who is stationed with the army in California; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Franks, Borger, and Mrs. Nelda Rowland, Milburn, Oklahoma.
