*Obituary
Simeon H. Dewey, 74-year-old long time resident of Hutchinson County, died at his home in Borger about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. He was a retired Stinnett oilfield worker.
Dewey, who had resided in the county for the past 30 years, lived at 705 Alabama. Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev Jeff Moore, officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton's Funeral Home.
Active casket bearers will be Jay Childress, Curley Ferguson, Judge Norman Coffee, T.S. Smock, Jack Early, G.D. Davis, Walter Scott and Leonard Ridenour.
Survivors include his wife of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Keel and Mrs. Lucille Cox, both of Borger, Mrs. Emily Powell of Butler, Mo., Mrs. Juanita Thurman of Harriman, Tenn., and Mrs. Louise Landers of Minden, La. Also surviving are two sons, Donald L. Dewey of Borger and Wilber J. Dewey of Pampa, 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
