Gary Eric Egan went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Amarillo, Texas.

He was born November 6, 1941 in Orange County, California to Joe Bailey and Winnie Velma (Farmer) Egan.

He was well known for working for many years at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger. He enjoyed taking long walks and playing dominoes. Gary also enjoyed collecting coins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: a sister, Karen Long and special friend Rudy Garsa of Borger, 2 nieces: Tina Gilstrap and husband Donald of Borger and Karla Valenzuela of Borger and 6 grand nieces and grand nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger. Pastor David Teakell, Kingdom Bound Ministries of Borger will conduct the service.

He will lie in state at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger on Monday, May 15 and Tuesday, May 16 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.

Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
