*Obituary
BORGER - Carl Leslie Floyd, 90, died Monday, March 24, 2003, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Paul Shedd and Tim Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Floyd was born April 28, 1912, in Salem, Ark. He was owner of the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store in Borger for 40 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Gay Harrell of Houston, and Hope Gidden and Joy Martinez, both of Borger; two brothers, Kenneth Floyd of Beaumont and Winston Floyd of Ozark, Ark.; three sisters, Mildred Tyler of Borger, Jo Sanders of Monahans and Nina Floyd of San Marcos; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
The family suggests memorials be to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1310 Hemlock St., Borger, TX 79007.
