This is the first burial in Baccus Cemetery. Daniel Cook was the son of Lieut. Henry Cook the founder of the cemetery. Initially this cemetery was known as Cook Cemetery until the name was changed to Baccus Cemetery in 1915. This is also reportedly the oldest marked grave in Plano, Collin County, Texas.
