Services for former Borgan Arthur Lewis Friend, 37, of 313 Ballard, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bible Baptist Church in Borger, with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Friend died Sunday night when the car he was driving skidded out of control and plunged over the side of a bridge into a creek bed about 10 miles west of Pampa on State Highway 152.

A native of Borger, he had lived in Pampa for four years and worked as a driller for Independent Drilling Co.

Survivors include three daughters, Desiree Nicole Friend and Julia Ann Friend, both of Pampa, and Tina Friend of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Jerry Friend of Perryton; five sisters, Kathryn Lowrance of Borger, Betty Zink and Martha Ann Daniels of Oklahoma City, Barbara Morrell of Paris, Tx., and Imogene Todd of Shreveport, La.; his mother, Mrs. Viola Tidwell of Perryton, and his father, Arthur L. Friend of Holdenville, Okla.

Pallbearers will be Larry Chance, Curtis Lowrance, Bobby Gardner, Sammy Carlton, Eddie Dalton and Ronnie Campbell.
