*Obituary
Roy Lee Frith, 78, 700 Montana, died Friday in High Plains Baptist Hospital, Amarillo.
A former owner of Frith Plumbing, he was a native of Comanche County, Texas and a Borger resident since 1936.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Local 196, Pipefitters and Plumbers in Amarillo.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
He is survived by his wife, Mamie of the home; three daughters, Betty Collins and Linda White, both of Borger; Jo Dean Brown of Enid, Okla.; two brothers, W.W. Frith of Amarillo, and J.C. Frith of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Jonnie Boone of Amarillo, Mrs. Eunice Wright of Austin, Mrs. Jessie Wing of Borger; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers were Bill Bailey, Don Brown, V.G. Fletcher, Larry Kossey, Junior Sessions and Gene Sions.
