Services for Timothy F. Lenning, of Lubbock were held March 4th 2000 in Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Tom Skinner, minister of Smithlawn Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Lenning died March 2, 2000 in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born March 31, 1933 in Bessemer, Ala., and was married to Alta Merritt Perkins on January 10, 1999 in Lubbock.

Mr. Lenning was raised in Bessemer and Alabaster Ala. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He moved to Lubbock in 1953 where he was stationed at Reese Air Force Base. He attended Lubbock Christian College.

He was a drafting engineer, artist, woodcarver and a musician. He was a member of the Smithlawn Church of Christ and the Lubbock Artist's Association.

Mr. Lenning is survived by his wife; four daughters—Sherry Hooser of Fort Worth, Kathy Sumpter of Austin, Pamela Pennington of Broken Bow Okla., and Ramona Meek of Dallas and one son—Timothy, Jr. of Lubbock.

He is also survived by one brother- Jack of Heweytown, Ala.; two sisters- Lottie Landreth of Pleasant Grove, Ala. and Sue Reddell of Albany, Ga. And by 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Paul Lewis, Mark Murden, David Murden, Bobby Miller and Don Weeks.
