Arlin Ferrell Daniel, 87 of Brownfield passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Lubbock. He was born May 25, 1924 in Quitaque, Texas to Thomas Virgil and Dora Lee Daniel. He and his family moved to Meadow in 1924. He graduated from Meadow High School. Ferrell married Nera May Berryhill on December 19, 1943 in Meadow. She preceded him in death in 2009. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran serving in the South Pacific in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery. He owned and operated Ferrell's T.V. & Radio prior to retiring. He was a member of Brownfield First Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia; a son, Gene; and a brother, John M. Daniel.
Ferrell is survived by 2 grandsons, Joey Gardner and wife Terie of Lubbock and Scott Klein and wife Elizabeth of Dallas; 4 great grandchildren, Lindsey Gardner, Kenzie Gardner, Kelly Klein and Dylan Klein.
