*Obituary
John W. Hays, 60, died at his home in the Phillips-Johnson lease northwest of the city, at 8:30 this morning following a heart attack.

A retired farmer, Hays had been here for ten years coming from Albert, Okla. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. A.L. Sharber of Gracemont, Okla., Miss Jewel Hays of Borger; a son, Floyd Hays of Borger; and four sisters, Mrs. J.W. Glaze of Wellington, Mrs. V.F. Pitts of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Mrs. J.W. Mattingly of Mt. Vernon, Tex., and Mrs. Walter Rozelle of Como, Texas.

The body is at the Powell Funeral Home pending arrival of relatives.
