*Obituary
BORGER — Bill Jett, 80, of Borger died Thursday, June 14, 2012.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fairlanes Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Burwash officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Bill was born Sept. 30, 1931, on a farm in Hardeman County. He joined the Air Force in December 1951, serving as a radio operator at bases in Alaska and Washington.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Jett of Wichita Falls and Andy Jett of Fritch; a daughter, Terri Diane Lyles of Borger; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Sue Ming of Henrietta; and three brothers, Ralph Jett of Winthrop, Ark., Charles Jett of Rockport and Ted Jett of Glen Rose.
The family suggests memorials be to Borger Healthcare Center, 1316 S. Florida St., Borger, TX 79007; or Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
