*Obituary
Ivan "Stacy" Jones, 60, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at BSA Hospice in Amarillo.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Tim Hutton of Fort Worth officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Jones was born Aug. 24, 1941, and was a native of Clovis, N.M. He attended Palo Duro High School in Amarillo. He had been a Borger resident for 43 years. He was an electrician for Phillips for 31 years. He married Sonja Collins on April 12, 1962, in Borger. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1581 in Borger for 22 years and Envoy of XiPi Beta Sigma Phi for 15 years. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Niangela Leona Jones, on April 7, 1968.
Survivors include his wife, Sonja of the home; son, Stacy Jones Jr., and his wife, Beth of Amarillo; one daughter, Chadette Hedrick and her finance Steve Boyd of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Dillon Funderburk, and Seth, Savanna and Sawyer Jones; an aunt, Louise Jones of Amarillo; and his mother and father-in-law, Leona and Curtis Collins of Borger.
Memorials may be made to BSA Hospice at PO Box 950, Amarillo, Texas, 79176.
Casket bearers will be Raymond Sisneros, John Wakefield, David Sly, Jay Hawley, Randy Griffin and Ronnie Chennault.
