Funeral services for Roger Dale Lafferty, 20, 1020 Coble will be at 4 p.m. Saturday from Minton's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor of the Riverview Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton's Mortuary.
Lafferty died at 10:50 p.m. June 28 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital of Amarillo. He was born August 28, 1952 at DeKalb, Tex., attended the Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. Lynn Lafferty, Abilene; Mrs. Velma Lafferty, Borger; one sister Mrs. Debbie Gregg, Borger; and his grandmother, Mrs. Eunice Attebury, Sweethome, Ore.
Pallbearers include Mike Neasbitt, Hoyt Key, Joe Carpenter, Curtis Lowrance, Randy Blakenship, and Richard Chilcote.
