Funeral services for Luther C. Laman, 51, of 600 E. Sixth, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Minton Memorial Chapel. The Rev. John Denton, pastor of the Keeler Baptist Church, will officiate. The Rev. Carlton Thompson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will assist Rev. Denton.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Casketbearers will be Woodrow Wilkerson, Charles Lathum, Clinton Stribling, Floyd Wright, A.L. Sikes and E.R. Sikes, Jr.
Laman died Friday night at North Plains Hospital. He had been a Borger resident for the past 30 years and was a member of the First Methodist Church of Odessa. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Robbie Laman of Borger, one daughter; two sons; one brother, James Laman, Amarillo; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Lathum, Borger, Mrs. W.T. Cole, Pampa; and Mrs. W.H. Bonham, Phoenix, Ariz.
