*Obituary
Julian Ater Larned, 63, of 1206 Cooley, died at 9:55 p.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
He was a chemical engineer with Phillips Petroleum Company.
Mr. Larned was a native of Henrietta, and had been a Borger resident for 33 years.
He was in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Ida E.; three daughters, Mrs. Sandy Morris and Mrs. Mary Neeley, both of Amarillo, and Mrs. Angie Gibson of Lawn; one son, James Larned of San Angelo; one step-son, R.L. Brown of Canadian; one sister, Mrs. Bethel Adkisson of Childress; three borthers [sic], A.O. Larned of Childress, George Larned of Upland, Calif.; and Ted Larned of Riverside, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.
