BORGER - Ruth Beatrice Litterell, 85, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Church of Christ at Borger with Neville Buchanan and Famous Byers, ministers, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Ruth was born Aug. 12, 1923, in Cordell, Okla.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby, in 1971.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Litterell; two sons, Kay Litterell and wife Winnie and Chuck Litterell and wife Donna, both of Borger; two daughters, Faye Blanks and husband Mike of Borger and Glenda Chester and husband Rick of Yukon, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Church of Christ at Borger, P.O. Box 3364, Borger, TX 79008; or Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter St., Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106.
