Lewis Abbott was born on December 1, 1857 in Texas to George Abbott and Sarah Jane Adams. Both of his parents are from Alabama.
In 1882, he married Alice Leona Hoot. There were 10 known children from this union.
Mr. Abbott died on May 26, 1942 in Houston, Harris County, Texas at the age of 86.
