1834 - 1904
Young William Dupree was born on December 25, 1834 in Georgia, to the Reverend John William Dupree and Mary Ann Taylor. His family left Georgia around 1860 headed to Texas from Georgia for an investment opportunity his father had. Eventually the Reverend and Mary went back to Georgia via Louisiana until his final days.
He married Elizabeth "Eliza" L. Blakely in 1865.
Mr. Dupree died on June 10, 1904 in Houston, Harris County, Texas at the age of 69. He is buried by his wife and children Sarah and Ebenezer.
